Thibault Rossard

Thibault Rossard was born on August 28, 1993, in Soisy-sous-Montmorency, France. He comes from a family with a strong volleyball background, as both his brother, Quentin, and his grandfather, Jacques, were volleyball players. His cousin, Nicolas Rossard, also played volleyball. Thibault began his professional career as an outside hitter / opposite. His athletic capabilities include a height of 1.94 m (6 ft 4 in), a spike reach of 350 cm (138 in), and a block reach of 320 cm (126 in).

Rossard’s career began in 2011 with Spacer’s de Toulouse, where he played until 2015. He later joined Arago de Sète for the 2015–2016 season, during which he won the French Championship. From 2016 to 2019, he played for Asseco Resovia, followed by a season with Fenerbahçe (2019–2020) and Volley Callipo (2020–2021). He then moved to Gas Sales Piacenza for the 2021–2022 season, before returning to Asseco Resovia for 2022–2023. In 2024, he joined Warta Zawiercie. On the international stage, Rossard has represented France since 2015, participating in the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

His national team achievements include a gold medal at the FIVB World League in 2017 in Curitiba, a bronze medal at the FIVB World League in 2016 in Kraków, a silver medal at the FIVB Nations League in 2018 in Lille, and another bronze medal at the FIVB Nations League in 2021 in Rimini. He also earned a silver medal at the CEV U19 European Championship in 2011. Individual accolades include being named Best Outside Spiker at the CEV U19 European Championship in 2011 and the FIVB U21 World Championship in 2013, as well as the Most Valuable Player and Best Receiver in the French Championship in 2016.
