Breakthrough drag performance artist Thorgy Thor is taking the world by storm. Perhaps best known for her scene-stealing appearance on the Emmy Award-winning series RuPaul’s Drag Race, Thor has gone on to become one of the shows most sought after stars. The New York City-based artist is self-taught and never had a drag mother to teach her all the tricks of the trade. Since appearing on Season 8 of the hit series and All Stars Season 3, Thor has featured on WWHL with Andy Cohen, Amazon’s Mozart and the Jungle and is a longstanding castmember of Hulu’s Dragnificent.
Before coming to RuPaul’s stage, Thor had already gained notoriety since her debut performance-based drag as Frank N Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show. While working at Sugarland and FWORD, Thor’s spectacular stage presence won her a Glammy Award. A well-established musician, Thor has notably played alongside several world-class orchestras. Some of these include the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Nova Scotia and Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, to name a few. After a string of national performances, Thor debuted her well-received solo show at the Gramercy Theatre in New York City during the 2019 season. As part of the MPpresent Haters Roast, Thor has been apart of the acclaimed comedy world tour for years and reigns supreme at A Drag Queen Christmas. With a range of projects in the works, including the Reality TV Awards, Thor has a long and exciting career ahead of her.
