Tony Law

Tony Law is a Canadian stand-up comedian and writer, recognized for his surreal humor and distinctive delivery. After winning the prestigious New Act competition at Glastonbury Festival in 1995, Tony Law quickly established his unique brand of surreal humor and improvisational delivery in the UK comedy circuit. Early in his career, his distinctive material often featured imaginative stories, notably inspiring his Edinburgh show, ‘The Dog Of Time.’ Law expanded his presence into television, appearing on Channel 4’s ‘Does Doug Know?’ in 2002 and ITV’s ‘Comedy Cuts.’ A significant career milestone was his first solo comedy tour in 2009, followed by a highly successful run as a support act for acclaimed comedian Stewart Lee in 2010. Law continued to develop his craft, performing on popular television programs including Russell Howard’s Good News in 2011 and Never Mind the Buzzcocks in 2011.

In 2020, Law took on roles as actor, writer, and supporting producer for ‘Comedy Unleashed: Quarantined.’ He further expanded his writing credits for the television special ‘Tony Law: A Now Begin in Again’ in 2022. Most recently, Law joined the cast of the highly anticipated series ‘Kaos’ as an actor in 2024, signaling his continued engagement with diverse performing arts projects.
