Keiynan Lonsdale

The fabulous entertainer Keiynan Lonsdale is an actor, TV host, dancer, and singer-songwriter, best known for his appearances as Oliver Lloyd in the ABC series Dance Academy, as Wally West/Kid Flash in the CW series The Flash, and for the 2015 Hollywood blockbuster The Divergent Series: Insurgent and it’s 2016 sequel Allegiant.

Born and raised in Australia, Lonsdale grew up with a love for entertaining and landed his first acting job in 2007 when he was 16-years-old with a dancing part in the film Razzle Dazzle: A Journey into Dance. The following year he made his TV debut in an episode of All Saints. After his schooling he then pursued acting full-time, and in 2012 secured a recurring role in season tow of the Aussie teen drama series Dance Academy, playing Oliver Lloyd. The character became a regular in the third and final season. Since then he has gone on to feature in such TV productions as Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, Love, Victor, and Eden. His film roles have seen him appear in two Divergent movies: 2015’s Insurgent, and 2016’s Allegiant, as well as Work It, and My Fake Boyfriend.

Lonsdale also worked as a VJ on MTV for two and a half years, and launched his own music career in 2014 with the release of his single, One and Only. He has continued to release music on a regular basis alongside his acting career, and his debut studio album, Rainbow Boy, came out in 2020.
