Trent Brown

Trenton Jacoby Brown was born on April 13, 1993, in Bastrop, Texas. He began his athletic career playing basketball before transitioning to football in high school at Westover Comprehensive High School in Albany, Georgia. After graduating in 2011, Brown attended Georgia Military College from 2011 to 2012, where his performance as an offensive lineman earned him second-team NJCAA All-American honors in 2012. He then continued his college football career at the University of Florida from 2013 to 2014, making significant contributions to the Gators’ offensive line, particularly in short yardage situations and as a starting guard.

Brown was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the seventh round of the 2015 NFL Draft. During his tenure with the 49ers, he quickly established himself as a formidable presence on the offensive line, earning praise from peers like Von Miller who recognized his potential as one of the best tackles in the league. His career progressed with a trade to the New England Patriots in 2018, where he transitioned to starting left tackle and played a crucial role in their Super Bowl LIII victory. Following this, he signed a record-breaking contract with the Oakland Raiders in 2019, becoming the highest-paid offensive lineman and earning his first Pro Bowl selection.

Brown returned to the Patriots for a second stint in 2021 before signing with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2024 and subsequently joining the Houston Texans in 2025. Throughout his career, Brown has consistently demonstrated his ability to protect quarterbacks and open lanes for running backs, contributing to team success in various roles across multiple NFL franchises.
