Inspirational Trent Brown is an Footballer who showed his determination and character coming back to play after a life-threatening situation. The gargantuan offensive tackle returned to play three games for the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League (NFL) before coming off the injured reserve list for the New England Patriots to help the side beat the Cleveland Browns. The year before he had gone into cardiac arrest prior to a Browns game after air was accidentally introduced into his bloodstream following a problem with a pre-game IV, and whilst lying in a Cleveland hospital after nearly losing his life he had contemplated retiring from the game.
Born in Bastrop, Texas, Brown started his college career at Georgia Military College before continuing at the Florida, where he is thought to be the biggest player to ever wear the Florida Gators uniform. Standing at a massive 6ft 8in and weighing in at 380 pounds, his value as a player was demonstrated when he helped the Patriots win Super Bowl LIII with an incredible performance in 2018. In 2019 he was named to a Pro Bowl selection for the first time in his playing career.
Brown took eight months to fully recover from the shocking health incident that nearly ended his playing career early, but he has continued to show his strength of character both on and off the football pitch and the dominating NFL tackle now intends to carry on playing for years to come.
