Trinity Thomas has transitioned from a highly decorated NCAA and elite gymnast to a collegiate gymnastics analyst, sharing her expertise and insights. After becoming the Level 7 Pennsylvania state champion in the all-around and on all four pieces in 2011, Trinity Thomas swiftly advanced through the ranks of elite gymnastics. In 2012, she skilled Level 8 to compete as a Level 9 gymnast, placing second at Regionals before finishing fourth in the all-around at the Level 9 Eastern Championship in Maryland. Her progression continued in 2013, reaching Level 10 of the USAG program where she secured third place at States and ninth at Regionals, qualifying for the J.O.
NIT competition. At the J.O. NIT in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Thomas distinguished herself as the National Champion on floor exercise and finished fourth in the all-around. Thomas solidified her elite status in February 2015, qualifying as a Junior International Elite gymnast through her performance at the WOGA Classic Elite Qualifier.
Thomas made her senior international debut in 2017 at the City of Jesolo Trophy, where she contributed to the USA’s gold medal-winning team performance. That same year, she placed fourth in the all-around at the U.S. National Gymnastics Championships and was named to the senior national team. Her international success continued in 2018, earning a silver medal at the Tokyo World Cup.
Building on her unparalleled athletic achievements and deep understanding of the sport, she joined ESPN in 2025 as a collegiate gymnastics analyst, sharing her professional perspective with a wide audience.
