The amazing Tucker Max is a bestselling author and public speaker who is famous for chronicling his drinking and sexual encounters on his website, tuckermax.com, which he launched in 2000 as a result of a bet. Since then he has garnered millions of visitors to the site and has published eight books to date. The 2009 film, I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell is an independent comedy loosely based on his work and persona, and he co-wrote the screenplay. He is also the founder of Scribe Media, a company that helps entrepreneurs write, publish and market their books.
Born in Georgia and raised in Kentucky, Tucker Max studied Law, Letters and Society at the University of Chicago and then later attended the Duke Law School. He began posting stories about his social life to his personal website in 2000 and quickly built up a loyal readership. He published his first book, The Definitive Book of Pick-Up Lines, in 2001, which he followed up with Belligerence and Debauchery: The Tucker Max Stories in 2003. His third book, I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell, became a New York Times No.1 bestseller, in 2006 and made the bestseller list ever year up to 2012. Five more books followed, including Mate: Become the Man Women Want, an advice book about men’s sexual strategies co-written with Dr Geoffrey Miller in 2015.
