Tyler Beede

A highly sought-after right-handed pitcher, Beede was initially drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the first round (21st overall) of the 2011 MLB Draft, but opted to attend Vanderbilt. Following his decorated collegiate career, he was drafted again in the first round (14th overall) of the 2014 MLB Draft by the San Francisco Giants, securing a significant $2.6 million signing bonus. Beede’s professional journey commenced in 2014 within the San Francisco Giants organization’s minor league system, where he consistently advanced through affiliates including the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes, San Jose Giants, and Richmond Flying Squirrels. His standout performance in 2016 saw him lead the Eastern League with an impressive 2.81 ERA, earning him recognition as both a California League mid-season All-Star and an MiLB Organization All-Star.

Looking ahead to 2025, he is slated to join the Long Island Ducks, followed by a move to the Diablos Rojos del México, showcasing his continued dedication to athletic development and diverse playing opportunities across different leagues.
