The dashing musician Tyler Shaw is a singer, songwriter, producer, actor, and model. He shot to fame after winning the MuchMusic Coca-Cola Covers Contest 2012, which was organised by the Canadian music cable channel MuchMusic. As a philanthropist he has a longstanding history with the WE Organisation, from live performances at their WE DAY events to actually working on the ground in Kenya, building a school. In April 2020 he co-created the artists initiative ArtistsCAN to help raise funds for the Canadian Red Cross for COVID-19 relief.

Born and raised in British Columbia, Canada, Shaw’s music career began at the age of 19 in 2012 when he entered the MuchMusic channel’s covers contest and won, securing a record deal with Sony Music. His first single, Kiss Goodnight, was certified Gold and peaked at No.24 in the Canadian Billboard Hot 100 charts. It is now certified Platinum. After his second single, By My Side, was released he signed an album deal. He released two more singles, House of Cards, which went Gold, and Dizzy. The album, Yesterday, came out in 2015. A sixth single from the album, Wicked, was released in 2016. It also went Gold.

Shaw’s second album, INTUITION, came out in 2018, and all three singles released off of it were hugely successful going Gold, 2x Platinum, and Platinum. His 2020 single, Remember, also went Gold, and was a track taken from his forthcoming self-titled third studio album, which was released in August 2021. His fourth studio album, A Tyler Shaw Christmas, was released in December 2021. Away from music, Shaw made his acting debut in the 2017 film The Meaning of Life. He also appeared in an episode of the Canadian drama series Lost & Found Music Studios.
