Standout frontman Tyler Shelton is best known as the lead vocalist for the metal band, Traitors. The Florida-based outfit was formed in early 2013 by Shelton soon after he departed Visionaries. Along with Mikey Ingram, Alan de la Torre, Stephen Arrango and Dilon Becker, the quintet’s down-tempo deathcore has become the soundtrack to millions of listeners lives. Shelton’s signature vocals paired with the driving riffs and pulsing melody have shaped the band’s evolving sound. From their sensational debut EP, We Are Triumphant, to the extensive collection of singles ranging from Short Fused to The Hate Campaign have placed Shelton on the map.

When he’s not upfront and centre, Shelton produces hilarious regular content on his Tik Tok channel. There you will find the fan favourite Death Metal Fat Cat series of videos that started it all, as well as his “me seeing a gorilla from a safe distance” skit that has earned over 140k views. A natural comedian, Shelton’s dry wit mixed with his style for chaos have turned him into an unlikely social media star. With over 53 million followers and over 45k on his Instagram, Shelton has found a winning formula.

After a brief hiatus from Traitors, Shelton is back with back stronger and better than ever. With a range of tours on the horizon, including their homecoming gig at The Orpheum, Shelton is leaving a lasting impression on the music industry.
