Valtteri Bottas

Valtteri Bottas established himself as a formidable talent in junior formulae, first winning both the Formula Renault Eurocup and the Formula Renault Northern European Cup in 2008. His dominance continued as he became the first driver to secure back-to-back victories at the Masters of Formula 3 in 2009 and 2010. Bottas further solidified his reputation by winning the GP3 Series in 2011. His Formula One journey began as a test driver for Williams from 2010 to 2012, before making his full-time F1 debut with the team in 2013.

During his four seasons with Williams, Bottas demonstrated consistent performance, securing nine podium finishes and contributing to the team’s impressive third-place finish in the Constructors’ Championship in 2014. In 2017, he made a career-defining move to Mercedes, partnering Lewis Hamilton. With Mercedes, Bottas achieved his maiden F1 victory at the Russian Grand Prix and his maiden F1 pole position at Bahrain, both in 2017. He was an integral part of the team’s historic run, contributing to five consecutive Constructors’ World Championships.

Looking ahead, Bottas has committed to joining Cadillac for their highly anticipated Formula One debut in 2026, marking a new and significant chapter in his racing career. Beyond the track, he has explored diverse interests including rallying and gravel cycling, and has established several successful business ventures, notably owning a coffee roastery, a gin brand, and holding a stake in an ice hockey team, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit.
