Vincent Poirier

Vincent Poirier, a French professional basketball player, has established a reputable career as a formidable center, excelling in both European leagues and briefly in the NBA. After distinguishing himself as the top rebounder in the Espoirs championship during the 2013-14 season, averaging 12 points and 10.8 rebounds over 30 games, Vincent Poirier showcased his talent, winning the French Cup and French Supercup in 2013. In April 2014, he signed a three-year contract with Paris-Levallois, initially on loan to Hyères-Toulon in Pro B, contributing 10 points and 4 rebounds in 10 minutes against Angers in February 2015. Returning to Paris-Levallois for the 2015-16 season, Poirier’s role expanded, earning MVP of the Round honors in April 2016 against BCM Gravelines-Dunkerque, recording 23 points, 12 rebounds, and 2 assists.

Representing the French national team, Poirier earned a Bronze Medal at the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup, a Silver Medal at the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics, and another Silver Medal at EuroBasket 2022.
