Wade Bowen is a Country/Red Dirt singer from Waco, Texas. Bowen left West 84, a band he was in with his friend Matt Miller in 2001 to begin his solo career. In 2002, Bowen released his first album titled Try Not to Listen which became a local hit in Texas. Bowen’s first album was released in 2003, which offered him the opportunity to launch his studio albums Lost Hotel in 2006 and his biggest to this day If We Ever Make it Home in 2008. Besides being known as an awarded name in country music, Bowen is also a very devoted father and family man. He still continues to perform on the active touring highways of Texas and Southwest. In the Texas Music Chart, Bowen’s single of Lost Hotel ‘God Bless This Town’ is a number one hit and was ranked as number 4 Song of the Year on the Texas Regional Radio Report and Texas Music Charts Top 30 of 2006. Bowen has been perceived as a mature song writer, singer and player that is believed to have happened due to his role as a father.
