Handsome young Wesley Stromberg is a musician best known for being the lead singer of the band, Emblem3, who shot to fame after appearing on The X Factor USA. The band won the Teen Choice Award for Choice Music: Breakout Group in 2013.
Born and raised in Washington State, Stromberg was introduced to the guitar when he was six-years-old, and by the time he was 11 he was composing his own songs. He started recording his own music with his friend Drew Chadwick, and the duo were later joined by Stromberg’s younger brother, Keaton, when they formed their band, Emblem3. They auditioned for the reality music competition show, The X Factor USA and came in fourth place. However, Simon Cowell was so impressed by their talents that he signed them to his label SYCO Records. They released their first single, Chloe (You’re The One I Want) in 2013, and a few months later their debut album, Nothing To Lose, came out. Chadwick then eft the band to pursue a solo career, and Stromberg and his brother continued to make music, releasing an EP, Forever Together, in 2014. Stromberg also formed another band, The BalCOny, with his friend Kenny Holland. Chadwick rejoined Emblem3 in 2015. The members also continue to purse solo careers, and Stromberg has been releasing singles and EPs under his first name, Wesley, since 2018’s If Only. His latest single, Moonlight, was released in 2021.
Stromberg regularly connects with his legions of followers and fans through Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, posting pictures and videos of his musical life both in and out of the recording studio. He is available for that personalised shout-out via the Cameo platform. He also has his own dedicated YouTube channel, WESLEY, an official website, wesleyofficial.com, and his own WR1 app, Wesley.
