Will Ospreay is one of the most exciting new faces in competitive wrestling. The current NEVER Openweight champion and a former two-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, Ospreay earned a range of accolades in his youth before swiftly rising through the ranks to bigger leagues. A former ROH World Television and Progress Wrestling Champion, Ospreay is the first British wrestler to be crowned Best of the Super Juniors while holding the title of IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion.

Trained at Lucha Brittania’s London School of Lucha Libre, Ospreay was inspired to take up wrestling after watching a three-way match between A.J. Styles, Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels at TNA Unbreakable. He made his professional debut aged 18 opposite Paul Robinson as Dark Britannico, and has since won the Lucha Britannia World Championship twice. Nicknamed ‘The Aerial Assassin’, Ospreay has a flamboyant and eccentric style that’s part of a persona that he has developed in order to stand out from other high-flying British wrestlers: his unique talents have gained the attention of significant promoters such as Progress Wrestling, Revolution Pro Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Ospreay started his own wrestling promotions company Frontline Wrestling in 2018, with a keen ambition to develop and popularize wrestling in the United Kingdom. Taking the best of British wrestlers to put the UK at the forefront of global wrestling, Ospreay put on his first event, ‘Build Me an Empire’ in summer 2018.
