Zachery Ty Bryan

Zachery Ty Bryan, born on October 9, 1981, in Aurora, Colorado, started his entertainment career at a young age, first appearing in local print and television advertising in Denver. His early talent eventually led him to California, where he secured the role of Brad Taylor on the ABC hit sitcom “Home Improvement.” This role, which he held until the series concluded in 1999, established him as a recognizable child actor. During his time on “Home Improvement,” Bryan also featured in other television productions, including an appearance on “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” in 1995.

After his foundational role, Bryan expanded his acting portfolio with appearances in numerous iconic TV series and feature films. Notable TV credits include “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” (2002), “Smallville” (2003), “Veronica Mars” (2005), “Cold Case” (2006), “Shark” (2006), “K-Ville” (2007-2008), and “Burn Notice” (2008). In film, he took on roles in productions such as “First Kid” (1996), “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift” (2006) as Clay, and “The Game of Their Lives” (2005), where he starred alongside Gerard Butler.

Bryan later transitioned into the production side of the entertainment industry, establishing his own production entity, Lost Lane. This move saw him produce three documentaries and four feature films. Among his production successes is “The Kindergarten Teacher” (2018), starring Maggie Gyllenhaal, which received unanimous acclaim at the Sundance Film Festival. He also served as producer for “Heavy” (2019), starring Sophie Turner, and “Skin” (2018), which was acquired by A24 at TIFF.
