Alana Springsteen

Alana Springsteen was born on October 18, 2000, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She displayed an early aptitude for music, beginning guitar at age 7 and composing her first song, “Fairy Tale,” by age 9. At the age of 10, her family relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, to support her musical aspirations. By 14, she secured a publishing deal, marking an early step in her professional career. Her initial performances included appearances at minor league baseball games, contributing to her development as a live artist. Despite sharing a surname with Bruce Springsteen, she is not related to the musician. Her musical approach often involves playing piano and guitar on her records, and she has cited Taylor Swift as a key musical inspiration.

Springsteen released her debut EP, ‘_Slow Down_,’ in 2019. Her career progressed significantly in 2023 with the release of a three-part EP series: ‘_messing it up_,’ ‘_figuring it out_,’ and ‘_getting it right_.’ These EPs were subsequently integrated into her first full-length album, ‘_Twenty Something_,’ released in August 2023. This album featured collaborations with prominent country artists Chris Stapleton on “Ghost In My Guitar” and Mitchell Tenpenny on “Goodbye Looks Good On You.” The latter track achieved RIAA Gold certification. Springsteen co-wrote all songs on the album, collaborating with Nashville-based songwriters like Liz Rose. NPR critics noted the album’s focus on navigating early adulthood emotions with detailed songwriting.

In July 2024, Springsteen’s collaboration with Dutch DJ Tiësto, “Hot Honey,” reached the number-one position on the Billboard Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart. She toured in 2024 as an opening act for Luke Bryan’s Mind of a Country Boy tour. During this tour in October 2024, her tour bus experienced a fire, resulting in the loss of musical equipment and personal items and causing the cancellation of some Texas dates. She later resumed performing. In the same month, she released singles “Cowboy” and “Hold My Beer.” In December 2024, an EP was released from her August 5, 2024, NPR Tiny Desk Concert appearance. In 2025, Springsteen is scheduled to tour as a supporting act for country musician Keith Urban on his High and Alive World Tour. She was also recognized by People magazine on their “2024 Ones to Watch” list.
