Echosmith

Echosmith is an American indie pop band known for chart-topping singles and engaging collaborations, delivering music with a message. After achieving a significant breakthrough with their 2013 single ‘Cool Kids’, Echosmith established themselves as a leading indie pop band. Signed to Warner Bros. Records in May 2012, ‘Cool Kids’ soared to number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned quadruple platinum certification from the RIAA.

In 2016, lead singer Sydney Sierota diversified the band’s brand presence by announcing a collaboration with Hollister for a fashion line. The group went on to release their EP Inside a Dream in 2017, showcasing their evolving sound. Marking a pivotal evolution in their career, Echosmith transitioned to an independent model in 2018, forming their own label, Echosmith Music, under a distribution agreement with Warner Music Group ADA. This strategic move allowed for increased creative control as they released their second studio album, Lonely Generation, in 2020 through their new imprint.

Echosmith has also engaged in notable collaborations, lending their talents to tracks with artists such as Zedd, Audien, and for KING & COUNTRY, showcasing their versatility across genres. In 2022, the band expanded their global audience reach by contributing the English opening song for the 25th season of Pokémon the Series. Further solidifying their independent creative vision, Echosmith released their self-titled third album, Echosmith, in 2023. Lead singer Sydney Sierota has also ventured into a solo career under the moniker Sydney Quiseng, releasing her debut single ‘Wonder’ in 2024.

She is set to follow this with her debut solo EP, Phases, in 2025, demonstrating the band’s continued artistic development and individual endeavors.
