Holding the record for the most number-ones on the Billboard Tropical Albums chart, Gilberto Santa Rosa is a Grammy Award-winning Puerto Rican singer and bandleader. He specializes in the salsa and bolero styles and is one of the best selling Puerto Rican artists of all time.

Known as “El Caballero de la Salsa”, Santa Rosa started his singing career with appearances in Spain’s most prestigious orchestras. He formed his own band in 1986 and quickly released several chart-topping hits including “Good Vibrations” and “De Amor y Salsa”. Santa Rosa has continued to be one of the most consistent and celebrated artists in his genre for several decades. He releases a new album almost annually and has a dedicated fanbase across the world. With an energetic personality and legendary improvisation skills, he became the first tropical music singer to perform at Carnegie Hall in 1995.

Santa Rosa has won numerous Grammy and Latin Grammy Awards and holds several records on the Billboard Tropical Albums Chart.
