Maia Reficco has transitioned from a Nickelodeon star to a multifaceted actress and singer, making her mark in television, film, and Broadway productions. After securing the lead role of Kally Ponce in the Nickelodeon Latin America series ‘Kally’s Mashup’ in 2017, Maia Reficco quickly established herself as a dynamic talent, captivating audiences across television, film, and music. Her performance in ‘Kally’s Mashup’ garnered a dedicated fanbase and earned her several Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. During this period, she signed with Deep Well Records, recording and releasing music for the series.
Prior to her breakthrough, Reficco honed her vocal talents, studying with renowned coach Eric Vetro and attending a five-week program at Berklee College of Music on scholarship. She expanded her stage presence with roles in ‘Sometimes I Feel Like Dying’ (2019), as Young Eva in ‘Evita’ Off-Broadway (2019), and as Natalie in ‘Next to Normal’ at the Kennedy Center (2020). Reficco further diversified her acting resume with significant roles in prominent film and television productions. In 2022, she starred as Montana Ruiz in the Netflix film ‘Do Revenge,’ showcasing her versatility on the big screen.
She is set to star as Olivia Field in La Dolce Villa, slated for release in 2025. Additionally, she will portray Lila Reyes in A Cuban Girl’s Guide to Tea and Tomorrow (TBA) and Oriah ‘Ry’ Pera in The Last Sunrise (TBA), demonstrating her ongoing commitment to compelling and diverse roles across film and television.
