Maia Reficco

Maia Reficco was born on July 14, 2000, in Boston, Massachusetts, and later moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina, at the age of four. Demonstrating an early aptitude for music, she learned to play the guitar, piano, saxophone, and ukulele. Her mother, Katie Viqueira, is a singer and vocal coach, and her father, Ezequiel Reficco, is a professor at the University of Los Andes. At 15, Reficco moved to Los Angeles, where she continued her vocal training with renowned coach Eric Vetro and attended a five-week program at Berklee College of Music, earning a scholarship.

Reficco’s career began when she secured the lead role of Kally Ponce in the Nickelodeon Latin America series “Kally’s Mashup” in 2017. She gained a dedicated fanbase and signed with Deep Well Records, recording music for the series. Her work on “Kally’s Mashup” earned her several Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. She further expanded her acting resume with roles in the 2022 Netflix film “Do Revenge,” where she played Montana Ruiz, and as Noa Olivar in the HBO Max horror thriller series “Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin” from 2022 to 2024. In 2024, Reficco made her Broadway debut as Eurydice in “Hadestown” at the Walter Kerr Theatre, showcasing her versatility across different entertainment platforms.

Her upcoming projects include “La Dolce Villa” (2025), “A Cuban Girl’s Guide to Tea and Tomorrow” (TBA), and “The Last Sunrise” (TBA), further solidifying her presence in the acting world. She has also released several singles including “Tuya” (2020), “De Ti” (2021), and “Rápido y Furioso” (2022). Reficco has performed her music at events such as the Kids’ Choice Awards Argentina and Kids’ Choice Awards Mexico, and has confirmed that she is working on a solo pop and R&B album to be released entirely in English.
