Xiumin

Xiumin, a member of the popular South Korean-Chinese boy band Exo, transitioned from a versatile performer into a solo artist and actor. After winning second place in the SM Everysing Contest in 2008, Xiumin quickly became a formidable presence in the global entertainment industry. He subsequently became a trainee with SM Entertainment and debuted as the seventh member of the popular South Korean-Chinese boy band Exo in January 2012. The group rapidly gained international recognition, and Xiumin further expanded his artistic endeavors in 2013, appearing in the music video for Jin’s song ‘Gone.’ His initial foray into acting began in 2015 with a musical theatre debut in SM Entertainment’s production ‘School OZ,’ followed by securing a leading role in the acclaimed web drama ‘Falling for Challenge’ the same year.

This marked a significant milestone, solidifying his transition into a solo artist. His career continues to encompass multiple successful collaborations and significant contributions to various soundtracks, alongside numerous appearances in both television and web shows, consistently highlighting his adaptability across diverse entertainment platforms. In January 2024, Xiumin strategically joined INB100 to manage his burgeoning solo activities, while maintaining his esteemed position and continuing group activities with Exo under SM Entertainment. Looking ahead, he is set to release his second extended play, Interview X, in 2025, further building on his strong solo momentum and artistic exploration.
