Aaron Gordon was born on September 16, 1995, in San Jose, California. He attended Archbishop Mitty High School, where he led his team to two state championships and earned the title of California Mr. Basketball in both his junior and senior years. His collegiate career at the University of Arizona from 2013-2014 saw him contribute to the Wildcats winning the Pac-12 regular season title and reaching the Elite Eight of the 2014 NCAA tournament. He concluded his college tenure by being named Pac-12 Freshman of the Year and earning first-team All-Pac-12 honors before declaring for the NBA draft.
Gordon was selected as the fourth overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft by the Orlando Magic, marking the beginning of his professional basketball journey.
