Aaron Robinson

Selected by the New York Giants as the 71st overall pick in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft, Aaron Robinson launched his professional football career after a standout collegiate tenure. During his high school career, Robinson distinguished himself by finishing his senior season with an impressive 41 tackles, four interceptions, and four pass break-ups. His exceptional performance earned him first-team All-Class 8A honors and a rating as a four-star recruit by ESPN. He began his collegiate career at the University of Alabama, where he played in 13 games as a reserve cornerback and on special teams during his freshman year in 2017, contributing to the Crimson Tide’s CFP National Championship victory that season.

Robinson then transferred to the University of Central Florida (UCF), where he became a significant player for the Knights. In his redshirt junior season in 2019, he recorded a robust 54 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, three interceptions, 10 pass breakups, and one forced fumble, which earned him second-team All-American Athletic Conference (AAC) honors. He continued to build on this success in his redshirt senior year in 2020, once again receiving second-team All-AAC recognition, solidifying his reputation as a formidable cornerback heading into the professional ranks. Following his decorated collegiate career, Robinson was officially welcomed into the NFL, signing a four-year rookie contract with the New York Giants on May 27, 2021.

He began the 2023 season once again on the reserve/PUP list as part of his recovery process. Robinson’s tenure with the Giants concluded when he was waived on July 31, 2024, signaling a new chapter in his accomplished football journey.
