Alan Cook’s career spans over three decades in the financial services sector and significant public service roles. He began his career with Prudential in 1970, directly after completing his education, demonstrating early commitment to the industry. His extensive tenure at Prudential saw him rise through various positions, culminating in his appointment as Chief Operating Officer for UK Insurance Operations in 2001. In this capacity, he was instrumental in consolidating Prudential’s UK and Scottish Amicable operations into a single integrated business model, focusing on customer services and IT operations through PruTech.
