Alex Levy

Alexander Levy was born on August 1, 1990, in Orange, California, to French parents. His family relocated to Bandol, France, when he was four years old. He developed an early interest in golf, leading him to join the French Federation of Golf’s academy at the age of 14 for secondary school. Levy demonstrated considerable talent during his amateur career, securing the French Amateur Championship in 2009 and the French International Amateur Championship in 2010. In 2010, he was also a key member of the French team that won the Eisenhower Trophy World Team Championship, marking a significant achievement before his professional debut.

Levy turned professional in 2011 and began his career primarily on the Challenge Tour in 2011 and 2012. He successfully earned his European Tour playing rights through qualifying school for the 2013 season. His official entry into the European Tour marked the beginning of a notable professional career, characterized by a series of victories and consistent participation in major tournaments. His nickname in golf is “El Toro.”

Over the course of his career, Alexander Levy has achieved five victories on the DP World Tour. He became the first Frenchman to win multiple times in a single season in 2014 and the youngest Frenchman to secure three titles by the age of 26. His ongoing participation in high-profile tournaments and consistent efforts contribute to his continued relevance in professional golf.
