She earned a BFA from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, which provided a foundation for her subsequent work across various media. Her early career included roles in television series such as “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” in 2012, where she played Lisa Kravitz, and “Glee,” appearing as Beatrice McClain the same year. In 2013, she featured in “Bones” as Courtney Johnson, “Hello Ladies” as the Red-Headed Girl, and Disney’s “Jessie” as Susan Channing. She also took on roles in films like “Cavemen” as Beth in 2013. These early experiences provided her with exposure to diverse genres and production environments, contributing to her development as an actress.
Cooper’s career continued to expand with further television appearances, including “Masters of Sex” in 2013 and “The Michaels” in 2014, a television movie where she portrayed Lori. The same year, she was cast as Eyelet in three episodes of ABC’s “Selfie,” a significant role that showcased her comedic timing. A turning point in her career was her involvement with the musical “Wicked.” She first played Glinda in the national tour in 2011, a role she reprised in the second national tour in 2016 and ultimately made her Broadway debut as Glinda in the original Broadway production.
