Ayesha Curry is a Canadian-American actress, author, television personality, and entrepreneur who has established herself in the culinary and lifestyle industries. After gaining significant traction demonstrating recipes on YouTube in 2014, Ayesha Curry went on to establish herself as a multifaceted entrepreneur, author, and television personality within the culinary and lifestyle industries. Her career began with early acting roles, including appearances in Suga Prince’s music video for ‘Too Young for Love,’ the short film ‘Underground Street Flippers’ (2009), the TV movie ‘Dan’s Detour of Life’ (2008), and the direct-to-DVD film ‘Love for Sale’ (2008). She also made guest appearances in Disney’s ‘Hannah Montana’ (2009) and ‘Good Luck Charlie’ (2010), before shifting her focus to her passion for food, initially through a personal food blog.

In 2017, Curry was appointed the first spokesperson for CoverGirl who was not an actress or singer, further cementing her influence in the lifestyle sector. That same year, she co-hosted ‘The Great American Baking Show.’ Building on her literary success, Curry released her second cookbook, ‘The Full Plate,’ in 2020.
