Brad Mcmurray

Brad McMurray has established a career as a versatile Australian actor, transitioning from early creative pursuits to significant roles in film, television, and theatre. After graduating in 2005 from the Queensland University of Technology’s Bachelor of Fine Arts (Acting) program, where he studied the renowned Eric Morris System of Acting, Brad McMurray quickly established himself as a versatile actor. During his academic period, he earned significant recognition for playing the lead in the graduating class’s production of Bertolt Brecht’s BAAL, directed by Michael Gow. This academic foundation propelled a professional career that now spans over two decades, having accumulated over 75 professional acting credits across film, television, and theatre since his initial forays into the industry in the mid-1990s.

Beyond his extensive acting portfolio, McMurray has broadened his industry expertise through various ventures. He serves as the Managing Director of the QLD branch of McLeod Casting, contributing to talent acquisition and development in Australia. An accomplished educator, he has also led acting institutions across Australia and is one of only eleven worldwide facilitators endorsed to teach the Eric Morris technique, offering private acting coaching to emerging talent. Looking ahead, McMurray is scheduled to appear as Kincaid’s Bodyguard in the 2025 feature film Play Dirty, as Brendan Sprigg in the television series Darby and Joan also in 2025, and as himself in Mental Health & the Actor’s Life, slated for 2025.
