The stunning and multi-talented Candace Smith is an actress, model, beauty queen, TV personality, comedian, life coach, radio host, and podcaster, best known for the Netflix comedy series The Wrong Missy, and for appearing in season 18 of the reality TV show Survivor: Tocantins. As Miss Ohio USA, she became actively involved in the Susan G. Komen breast cancer organisation, as well as helping young women around the United States pursuing pageantry. She also works one-on-one with the homeless women of the Downtown Women’s Center in Los Angeles.
Born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, Smith attended the University of Dayton to study psychology and then the Northwestern University in Chicago to study law. After passing the Bar exam in 2oo2 she began practicing commercial real estate law at the largest law firm in Ohio, while at the same time competing in beauty pageants. She won the title of Miss Ohio USA 2003 and went on to represent Ohio in Miss USA 2003. She then began to pursue a career in TV and film, and made her debut as a model on The Price is Right game show. She made her acting debut in an episode of The John Henson Project in 2004, and has since gone on to appear in a number of TV productions, including Entourage, Heroes, Hawaii Five-0, and Tacoma FD. Her movie debut came with a small part in 2006’s raunchy comedy Beerfest, and she has gone on to appear in such movies as End of Watch with Jake Gyllenhaal, Gimme Shelter with Brendan Fraser, and romcom The Wrong Missy.
