Carlos Ferro

Carlos Ferro began his career in the entertainment industry as a DJ before transitioning into theater and television. His dedication to acting led him to an artist in residence position at Cornell University. Ferro co-produced and co-wrote the show “SAL,” where his portrayal of Sal Mineo earned him a Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Award nomination for Best Solo Performance. This early success set the stage for a diverse career in both live-action and animated productions, working alongside notable figures such as John Landis, Jerry Lewis, Harvey Fierstein, and Dudley Moore.

Ferro is widely recognized for his extensive voice acting work, particularly as Dominic Santiago in the popular “Gears of War” video game series, a role he has reprised across multiple titles including “Gears of War” (2006), “Gears of War 2” (2008), “Gears of War 3” (2011), “Gears of War 4” (2016), “Gears 5” (2019), and the upcoming “Gears of War: Reloaded” (2025) and “Gears of War: E-Day.” He also lent his voice to Leonardo da Vinci in “Assassin’s Creed II” (2009), “Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood” (2010), “Assassin’s Creed: Ascendance” (2010), and “Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR” (2023). His voice contributions extend to numerous other video games like “Saints Row” (2006, 2022), “X-Men: Next Dimension” (2002), and “Battlefield: Hardline” (2015), as well as animated television series and films such as “Justice League” (2003), “Beware the Batman” (2014), “Big Top Scooby-Doo!” (2012), and “Baymax!” (2022).

Beyond his acting roles, Ferro expanded his creative pursuits into music video production, directing and producing musical artist Stoomie’s “Two For a Tenner – Yes Please (Melrose Edit)” in 2005. His multifaceted career demonstrates a consistent engagement in various aspects of media production, establishing him as a versatile talent in the entertainment field.
