Christian Eriksen is a widely recognised Danish international footballer born in Middlefart, Denmark. He plays in the mid field for Inter Milan and for Denmark. His father Thomas was a coach and he started playing from a young age along with his sister Louise Eriksen. He played at Middlefart 1992 – 95 and in 2005 he moved to Odense Boldklub.
At age 15, he was scouted by top clubs and signed for Ajax in 2008. Erikson won the Eredivisie in 2010/11, 2011/12 and 2012/13 and in 2014 he signed for Tottenham. In his first season he was Player of the Year, an incredible achievement that set the bar for the rest of his career. He spent seven years at this club again winning this award in the 2016/17 season.
He was part of the side that went to the 2019 UEFA Champions League Final. Following this, he signed for Inter-Milan in January 2020.
Eriksen first played internationally for Denmark when at the age of just 15 he was selected for the under 17’s. He was soon named Danish footballer of the year by the Danish Football Association. He was the youngest player to represent Denmark in the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
