Claire Cashmore

Claire Cashmore is a seven-time Paralympian and ten-time Paralympic medallist, transitioning from a decorated swimming career to a world-class paratriathlete. After earning two bronze medals at the Athens 2004 Paralympic Games, Claire Cashmore went on to establish herself as a dominant force in Paralympic swimming. Her prolific career saw her compete in four consecutive Paralympic Games, securing eight medals in total. Notable achievements include a silver medal at the 2006 IPC Swimming World Championships and a bronze medal at the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games.

She is also a valued member of ParalympicsGB’s Athletes’ Commission, where she actively advocates for athletes and contributes to the future strategic direction of the team, demonstrating her continued commitment to the Paralympic movement beyond competition.
