Clinton Baptiste, the acclaimed clairvoyant character originated by Alex Lowe, has transitioned from television appearances to headlining sell-out tours and developing popular podcast series, extending his unique comedic brand. After first introducing the iconic clairvoyant character of Clinton Baptiste in Peter Kay’s acclaimed comedy series Phoenix Nights in 2001, Alex Lowe went on to establish the psychic medium as a household name through subsequent acclaimed television appearances and multiple sell-out tours. Its initial exposure on Phoenix Nights quickly gained widespread recognition. Lowe reprised his role in Peter Kay’s Britain’s Got The Pop Factor… And Possibly A New Celebrity Jesus Christ Soapstar Superstar Strictly On Ice in 2008, further solidifying Baptiste’s popular appeal.

He voiced King Hunnybun in Nickelodeon UK’s Tinkershrimp & Dutch in 2016 and played Jeremy Corbyn on Sam Delaney’s News Thing from 2015-2018.
