David Bedingham has established himself as a prominent cricketer, representing South Africa internationally and playing for county teams. After commencing his first-class cricket career with Northerns in the 201213 CSA Provincial Three-Day Competition on March 14, 2013, David Bedingham quickly established himself as a formidable batsman. He demonstrated consistent performance, becoming the leading run-scorer for Boland during the 201718 season in two distinct competitions: the CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge, where he amassed 283 runs in seven matches, and the Sunfoil 3-Day Cup, recording an impressive 790 runs across eight matches.
This prolific period also saw him join the Birmingham Phoenix for the inaugural The Hundred tournament in 2021, where he consistently contributed with his powerful middle-order batting. David Bedingham made his highly anticipated international debut for South Africa during the 2023/24 two-match Test series against India.
