David Lascher

David Scott Lascher was born on April 27, 1972, in Scarsdale, New York. His mother worked as a psychotherapist, and his father was a Wall Street lawyer. He attended Scarsdale High School. Lascher began his acting career in the late 1980s, gaining recognition for his role as Ted McGriff in the Nickelodeon comedy series “Hey Dude” from 1989 to 1991. This early work established him in television roles, leading to appearances in other notable series.

Following “Hey Dude,” Lascher appeared as Kyle Conners in the FOX drama series “Beverly Hills, 90120” from 1991 to 1992, and as Vinnie Bonitardi, a recurring character and love interest to Blossom Russo, on the NBC sitcom “Blossom” between 1992 and 1994. He later joined the cast of “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch” from 1999 to 2002, where he played Josh, Sabrina’s love interest and coffee shop manager. In addition to acting, Lascher expanded his career to include producing and directing. His work behind the camera includes co-writing, producing, and directing the 2014 film “Sister,” which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Lascher’s career continued with roles in various television films and series, including “Melissa & Joey” (2014), “The Boat Builder” (2017), and “Hollywood Darlings” (2018). Most recently, he appeared in “The Other Two” in 2023. These projects demonstrate his sustained presence in the entertainment industry across different capacities, showcasing his versatility as an actor, producer, and director over several decades.
