David Meade is a celebrated speaker, business authority and entertainer, who has made a name for himself as a mentalist, mind-reader and expert in human behaviour. He is known for starring in David Meade: Million Dollar Bet and various other television specials, as well as his extensive speaking, touring and corporate engagements.
Meade’s early career in business included roles across the retail, hospitality and real estate sectors in Europe and the United States. His observations during this time led him to undertake research and to lecture in International Business and Strategy at the University of Ulster. Today, Meade is a favourite keynote speaker and workshop leader, whose many clients have included PwC, EasyJet, Microsoft and the Institute of Directors. He speaks widely on subjects such as decision making, motivation, sales and leadership, and writes a monthly business column.
On television, Meade is known for David Meade: Million Dollar Bet, in which he travelled to Las Vegas to find out if it was possible to crack the casinos and win a million dollars. In The David Meade Project, Meade explored mentalism in more detail, and in Crowd Control he revealed the techniques used by marketeers and cult leaders to influence human behaviour. He has made many guest appearances, including on ITV’s This Morning, A Night at the Proms, RTE One’s The Panel and Channel 4’s Big Brother. He tours publicly as a mentalist, and his popular shows have included Brainman, The Wizard of Odds, and Catch Meade If You Can. His shows have received critical acclaim and he regularly performs to sell-out crowds.
