David Meade

David Meade, originally from Co Down, Northern Ireland, began his career in academia as a lecturer at Ulster University, a role he enjoyed for its focus on student development. Later, he established himself as a successful mentalist, undertaking live tours and participating in various successful TV projects, including “The David Meade Project” on BBC One and BBC Two Northern Ireland in 2011. This four-episode documentary series showcased his abilities as a mentalist investigating intelligence and his attempts to enhance cognitive function in individuals. His work as a presenter and his involvement with documentary production marked an early phase in his public career, which also notably included serving as a presenter for the BBC.

Transitioning from mentalism, Meade leveraged his background in psychology and mindset to become an international keynote speaker. He founded his own companies, expanding his reach to the US market, delivering corporate keynotes and creating team-building initiatives in cities such as New York City, Austin, Miami, and Orlando. He co-founded Lightbulb Teams with his ex-wife, Elaine, a philanthropic venture that creates team-building events focused on assembling prosthetic hands and water filters for donation globally.
