Dawid Kubacki

Dawid Kubacki is an Olympic medalist and World Champion ski jumper known for his consistent performance and dedication to the sport. After becoming the 2019 World Champion on the normal hill and winning the prestigious 2019-20 Four Hills Tournament, Dawid Kubacki cemented his status as a premier ski jumper on the international circuit. His professional career began with his FIS Cup debut in Bischofshofen in September 2005. Kubacki quickly progressed, scoring his first FIS Ski Jumping World Cup points in Harrachov in January 2006, finishing 22nd, and by March 2007, he was actively competing in the Continental Cup, marking a steady rise through the ranks of elite competition.

He also contributed to Poland’s first ski flying team medal, a bronze, at the 2018 Ski Flying World Championships in Oberstdorf, and an Olympic bronze in the team event at the 2018 Pyeongchang Games. Beyond his team accolades, Kubacki boasts an impressive individual record. The 2017 summer season proved particularly strong, with five victories across nine competitions, leading him to clinch the overall classification of the 2017 FIS Ski Jumping Grand Prix. This momentum carried into the winter season, culminating in his first individual World Cup podium in Oberstdorf in December 2017.
