Denny Hamlin

Denny Hamlin is a professional stock car racing driver and team owner, known for his consistent performance and numerous victories in the NASCAR Cup Series. After winning the WKA Manufacturers Cup in 1997, Denny Hamlin rapidly established himself as a formidable talent in stock car racing. His ascent continued in Late Model Stock Cars, securing ten victories in 2002, followed by an impressive 25 wins and thirty poles out of 36 races in 2003. This strong performance led to a driver development contract with Joe Gibbs Racing in 2004.

Hamlin holds the all-time record for wins at Pocono Raceway with seven victories and at Kansas Speedway with four victories. He also added Sprint All-Star Race (2015) and Busch Light Clash wins in 2014 and 2016 to his extensive resume, accumulating the most Cup Series wins without a championship. Beyond his driving career, Hamlin expanded his influence in the sport by co-owning 23XI Racing with Michael Jordan, a NASCAR Cup Series team that commenced racing in 2021 with driver Bubba Wallace. In 2023, he was honored as one of NASCAR’s 75 Greatest Drivers, underscoring his lasting impact on the sport.

Hamlin also hosts the weekly podcast, ‘Actions Detrimental,’ providing unique insights into the world of NASCAR. His most recent on-track success includes winning the Busch Light Clash for a fourth time in 2024.
