Named second-team All-Pac-12 Conference as a junior in 2021, Dohnovan West established himself as a formidable collegiate football center at Arizona State University. During his three seasons with the Arizona State Sun Devils, West quickly rose to prominence, earning the coveted starting center position in his freshman year in 2019. His consistent high-level performance throughout his tenure culminated in his significant conference recognition. Following this successful collegiate career, West made the strategic decision to forgo his remaining eligibility, declaring for the 2022 NFL Draft to pursue a professional career.

In 2025, West also had a brief but notable stint in the NFL, signing with the Arizona Cardinals on August 20, 2025, before being waived five days later.
