Echo Kellum

Echo Kellum was born on August 29, 1982, in Chicago, Illinois, USA. He moved to Los Angeles in late 2009 to pursue a career in comedy, where he further honed his skills by graduating from renowned institutions like The Groundlings, I.O. West, and the Upright Citizens Brigade. His career began gaining momentum with significant television roles. Kellum secured his first major role in 2012 in the FOX comedy series “Ben and Kate,” where he played Tommy, the best friend of the titular character Ben. Following this, he was cast as Hunter in NBC’s “Sean Saves the World,” starring alongside Sean Hayes and Megan Hilty.

In 2015, Kellum took on the recurring role of Curtis Holt, also known as Mister Terrific, in The CW drama series “Arrow.” His portrayal of the technological savant and inventor, who later became a member of Team Arrow, resonated with audiences. This role led to his promotion to a series regular for the fifth season of “Arrow” in April 2016. He also reprised his role as Curtis Holt in the “Arrow” spin-off series “Legends of Tomorrow.” Kellum exited “Arrow” during its seventh season in 2019 but returned for two episodes in its final season. His acting credits also include film appearances such as “Girlfriend’s Day” (2017) and “Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret.” (2023).

Beyond live-action roles, Kellum has established a presence in voice acting, lending his voice to characters like King Joaquín in the Disney Channel animated series “Elena of Avalor” and various characters, including Brad and Triple Trunks, in the Adult Swim animated series “Rick and Morty.” In 2021, he joined the main cast of the NBC series “Grand Crew” as Noah Koles, further demonstrating his range in various television projects. His work extends to directing and writing, including the short film “Undead Life” (2020), showcasing his comprehensive involvement in creative productions.
