Eleanor Matsuura

Eleanor Matsuura is a British actress celebrated for her versatile performances across film, television, and video games. After graduating from the Central School of Speech and Drama in London in 2004, Eleanor Matsuura swiftly established herself in the British theatre scene, performing at acclaimed venues such as the Royal Court Theatre, the Old Vic Theatre, and various West End productions. Concurrently, she began appearing in British television dramas, securing roles in popular series including ‘EastEnders,’ ‘Holby City,’ and ‘Doctor Who,’ alongside early British film projects, laying a robust foundation for her versatile career. Matsuura’s career progressed with a series of significant and diverse roles across film, television, and video games.

During this period, she also took on the role of Baron Juliet Chau in the AMC martial arts drama ‘Into the Badlands,’ appearing from 2017 to 2019. Matsuura reprised her role as Epione in ‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League’ (2021), further solidifying her presence in major cinematic franchises. Expanding her voice acting portfolio, she voiced the character Jolán in the critically acclaimed video game ‘Elden Ring’ in 2022.
