Gabbi Garcia

Gabriella Louise Ortega Lopez, known professionally as Gabbi Garcia, was born on December 2, 1998, in Makati, Philippines. She spent her childhood in Pasay and completed her high school education at St. Paul College, Pasig. During her teenage years, Garcia was actively involved in her school’s choir, dance troop, and cheering squad, and also participated in several beauty pageants. Her early career began with appearances in commercials and participation in singing competitions, which led to her television acting debut in 2014.

Garcia made her initial mark in the entertainment industry as one of the young lead stars in GMA Network’s primetime series, “My Destiny” (2014). For several years, she was credited as Gabrielle Garcia. She gained significant prominence through her role as Sang’gre Alena in the 2016 reboot of the fantasy series “Encantadia.” This role helped elevate her celebrity status. Following “Encantadia,” Garcia continued to collaborate on various projects, expanding her filmography and solidifying her presence in Philippine television and film.

Her career path includes diverse roles, moving beyond initial pairings to explore different creative avenues. In 2019, she starred in “LSS (Last Song Syndrome)” and the revenge drama series “Beautiful Justice.” More recently, in 2023, Garcia joined the cast of the romantic drama series “Unbreak My Heart,” a collaborative project between GMA Network and ABS-CBN. She has also co-hosted several variety shows and has a successful career as a vlogger and global endorser.
