Gabbi Garcia, born Gabriella Louise Ortega Lopez on December 2, 1998, is a multifaceted Filipino actress, global endorser, singer, host, and vlogger. She is an exclusive artist of GMA Network, known for her dynamic roles and versatile talents. Garcia’s first acting role was as Nicole Perez in GMA Network’s primetime series “My Destiny” in 2013, where she began her journey in television as one of the young lead stars. Initially credited as Gabrielle Garcia, she soon gained recognition for her performance as Pia Sta. Maria in “Let the Love Begin.”
Garcia’s breakthrough came with her portrayal of Sang’gre Alena in the 2016 reboot of the fantasy series “Encantadia,” a role originally played by Karylle. This role significantly elevated her popularity and established her as a prominent figure in Philippine television. She was frequently paired with Ruru Madrid in various projects, including the political sitcom “Naku, Boss Ko!” and the drama “Sherlock Jr.” However, their on-screen partnership ended when Garcia’s character was unexpectedly killed off in “Sherlock Jr.” in 2018.
Transitioning beyond her loveteam with Madrid, Garcia starred in “Pamilya Roces” alongside Gloria Diaz and Carla Abellana in 2018, and the revenge drama series “Beautiful Justice” with Bea Binene and Yasmien Kurdi in 2019. Garcia has expressed a preference for working with a variety of leading men, rather than being tied to a single long-term on-screen partner.
In “LSS (Last Song Syndrome),” Garcia starred opposite her real-life boyfriend, Khalil Ramos. Despite their real-life relationship, the couple has avoided being labeled as a traditional loveteam, emphasizing their individual careers.
Apart from acting, Garcia is a global endorser and has a significant presence on social media as a vlogger, showcasing her diverse talents and engaging with her wide fanbase.
