Gabi Butler

Gabi Butler built her name in competitive cheerleading long before television audiences learned it. A California-born athlete, she spent years training and competing with some of the sport’s most respected programs, including the California All Stars Smoed, Top Gun TGLC, Cheer Athletics Wildcats, and Gymtyme Blink. That foundation of elite team competition set the stage for her national breakthrough.

Her wider recognition came through the Netflix docuseries “Cheer,” which brought cheerleading to a global audience and made Butler one of its most recognizable faces. Building on that visibility, she expanded beyond the mat into media work, becoming a YouTuber and television personality while also pursuing a professional wrestling career that led to a contract with WWE.

Butler’s competitive career has kept moving forward alongside her media work. She has cheered for both Navarro College and Weber State University, two programs closely followed by cheer fans, and in the 2025-26 season she competes with Top Gun Allstars Double O. Few athletes in the sport have spanned so many top-tier programs and formats, from all-star gyms to collegiate cheer to mainstream entertainment.
