Giancarlo Stanton is a distinguished Major League Baseball designated hitter and outfielder, officially known as Giancarlo Cruz-Michael Stanton, who has played for the Florida/Miami Marlins and currently for the New York Yankees. After making his Major League Baseball debut with the Florida Marlins on June 8, 2010, Giancarlo Stanton rapidly established himself as a prominent power hitter. During his inaugural year, he was recognized for his significant impact, being named to Baseball America’s 2010 All-Rookie Team and the 2010 Topps Major League Rookie All-Star Team. Stanton hit his first MLB grand slam in 2010 and followed with his first walk-off home run on July 6, 2011.
