Gloria Allred

Gloria Allred is a highly recognized American attorney known for her significant work in civil rights and women’s rights cases. After co-founding the firm Allred, Maroko & Goldberg in January 1976, Gloria Allred established herself as a formidable attorney specializing in civil rights, sexual harassment, women’s rights, wrongful termination, and employment discrimination. Her early work included representing clients against Sav-On Drugstore in 1979 for toy segregation and successfully suing California State Senator John G. Schmitz for libel in 1981, securing a $20,000 settlement and apology.

She also represented Jodie Fisher in a sexual harassment claim in 2010 that led to the resignation of the HP CEO, and in 2012, represented Jenna Talackova in a successful challenge to her disqualification from Miss Universe Canada. Allred’s unwavering commitment to victims’ rights continued into recent years, notably representing at least 28 women accusing Bill Cosby of sexual assault in 2015, three women accusing Donald Trump of sexual misconduct in 2016, and Beverly Young Nelson alleging sexual assault by Roy Moore in 2017. Her significant contributions were recognized with an induction into the National Women’s Hall of Fame in 2019 and a 2024 recognition among Lawdragon’s 500 Leading Civil Rights & Plaintiff Employment Lawyers. Most recently, she represented individuals alleging sexual assault by Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs in 2024 and is slated to represent Guadelupe De Los Santos in a lawsuit against 50 Cent in 2025.
