Hannah Waddingham, a Primetime Emmy Award winner recognized for her versatility across stage and screen, launched her career in musical theatre with her West End debut in 1998 in ‘Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens’. She continued to build a distinguished stage career, playing Christine Warner in Andrew Lloyd Webber and Ben Eltons ‘The Beautiful Game’ from 2000. Waddingham gained further acclaim as the Lady of the Lake in ‘Spamalot’, a role she reprised on Broadway. Her compelling portrayal of Desirée Armfeldt in Trevor Nunns revival of ‘A Little Night Music’ also garnered significant attention, with these leading roles earning her multiple Laurence Olivier Award nominations for Best Actress in a Musical.
Waddingham released her debut live album, ‘Hannah Waddingham: Home for Christmas’, in November 2023, which coincided with her critically praised Apple TV+ holiday special of the same name. She is set to lend her voice to upcoming animated projects, including Disneys ‘Lilo & Stitch’ (2025) and ‘Smurfs’ (2025), continuing to expand her diverse portfolio across film, television, music, and hosting.
