Baron Corbin's alliance with WWE Hall of Famer JBL was a brief partnership in late 2022, intended to re-establish Corbin as 'The Modern Day Wrestling God'. The partnership, however, did not achieve its intended success and was ultimately short-lived.
Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss formed a relationship on the Friday Night SmackDown brand, characterized by an on-screen alliance that eventually dissolved into a rivalry.

He was a two-time Golden Gloves regional amateur boxing champion and played as an offensive lineman for the Indianapolis Colts (2009) and Arizona Cardinals (2010–2011) in the NFL, though primarily as a practice squad member. This foundation in competitive sports highlighted his physical prowess and determination, qualities he later brought to professional wrestling. His football career, particularly his time with the Cardinals, saw him recognized for his aggressive style, including an incident involving uppercuts during a training camp scuffle.
Pestock signed with WWE’s developmental system, NXT, in August 2012, adopting the ring name Baron Corbin. His early NXT career was marked by consistent wins in short matches, establishing a “Lone Wolf” persona. A significant turning point came in 2016 when he made his main roster debut at WrestleMania 32, winning the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. This victory marked his entrance into WWE’s top tier, leading to various character evolutions and significant storylines. He later secured the Money in the Bank Briefcase in 2017 and held the WWE United States Championship for 70 days, solidifying his position as a prominent figure on the SmackDown brand.
Corbin’s career also included a role as “Constable Corbin” on Raw in 2018, where he served as an on-screen authority figure and engaged in high-profile feuds. Winning the King of the Ring tournament in 2019 led to his change in moniker to “King Corbin.” After losing this title, he spent a period as a character depicting financial hardship before reinventing himself as “Happy Corbin” in 2021, a cheerful, wealthy individual. His later partnerships with Madcap Moss and JBL, followed by a return to NXT and a run as NXT Tag Team Champion with Bron Breakker in 2024, showcased his adaptability and ongoing commitment to his craft within the evolving landscape of professional wrestling. He departed WWE in November 2024 and is currently competing on the independent circuit and with Major League Wrestling as Bishop Dyer, including winning the MLW World Tag Team Championship in 2025.
