Haylie McCleney

Haylie McCleney established herself as a record-setting athlete during her collegiate career at the University of Alabama, playing for the Crimson Tide from 2013 to 2016. She set the Alabama Crimson Tide batting average record at .447 and joined an elite group with over 300 hits, 200 runs, and 100 stolen bases. McCleney earned multiple accolades, including NFCA Second Team All-American in 2013, followed by three consecutive NFCA First Team All-American honors from 2014 to 2016. She was also recognized with First Team All-SEC and SEC All-Defensive Team selections, alongside CoSIDA First Team Academic All-American honors from 2014 to 2016, and was named Academic All-America Team Member of the Year in 2015 and 2016.

Her collegiate career culminated in winning the Senior CLASS Award in 2016. Concurrent with her college success, McCleney began her distinguished international career, becoming a member of the United States women’s national softball team in 2013. McCleney seamlessly transitioned into professional softball, playing for the USSSA Pride in 2016, the Texas Charge in 2017, and Scrap Yard Fast Pitch from 2018 to 2020. Throughout this period, she continued to excel on the international stage, securing two World Championship gold medals in 2016 and 2018, and a Pan American Games gold medal in 2019.
