Jalen Green has established himself as a dynamic shooting guard, progressing from a top high school recruit and G League Ignite standout to a key player in the NBA. After being named FIBA Under-17 World Cup MVP in 2018, Jalen Green cemented his status as a basketball prodigy. His high school career at San Joaquin Memorial saw him average 18.1 points and 9 rebounds as a freshman, earning MaxPreps Freshman All-American second team and CIF Central Section Rookie of the Year in 2017. As a sophomore, Green averaged 27.9 points and 7.7 rebounds, leading his team to a Central Section Division II title and recognized as MaxPreps National Sophomore of the Year in 2018.

Demonstrating his long-term value, Green signed a three-year, $106 million contract extension with the Houston Rockets in October 2024.
