James Bradberry

James Bradberry IV was born on August 4, 1993, in Pleasant Grove, Alabama. He distinguished himself early as a three-year varsity letterman at Pleasant Grove High, playing both cornerback and safety. During his senior football season in 2010, Bradberry recorded nine interceptions and 45 tackles, earning all-metro and first-team all-state honors. He also showcased his athletic versatility as a two-sport athlete, participating in varsity basketball, and maintained academic excellence as a member of the National Honor Society. Following high school, Bradberry attended Arkansas State University in 2011 before transferring to Samford University.

At Samford, Bradberry became a starting cornerback, contributing significantly to the Bulldogs’ defense. In his debut season in 2012, he recorded 32 tackles and two interceptions, earning a spot on the 2012 Southern Conference All-Freshman team. He continued to be a key player through 2014, consistently delivering strong defensive performances. His collegiate career culminated in him being drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the second round (62nd overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft, making him one of only seven players from Samford drafted since 1967. This marked the beginning of a notable professional journey through the NFL, where he has been recognized for his defensive skills.

Bradberry transitioned smoothly into the NFL, where he played for the Carolina Panthers (2016–2019), New York Giants (2020–2021), and Philadelphia Eagles (2022–2024). A career highlight was being named a Pro Bowl selection in 2020 and a second-team All-Pro in 2022. He was a starting cornerback for the Philadelphia Eagles during their journey to Super Bowl LVII in 2023, and subsequently became a Super Bowl LIX champion in 2025. Over his professional career, he accumulated 478 total tackles, 19 interceptions, and 112 pass deflections, demonstrating his consistent presence and effectiveness on the field.
